Music and writing go hand in hand, yes?
No, not for me.
When I first starting fan fic, sure I had ITunes blasting but then that changed for whatever reason. I had to have complete silence and isolation. All that changed when I started doing rewrites on Blurred Lines.
Due to work, I’m always driving it seems so that means the radio is always on. So, I usually keep it tuned to rock stations with a mix of classic rock and stuff from today as well as some R&B — and I don’t mean the weird shit that’s hot these days. I started to hear songs that caused a visceral reaction. You know what I mean—that twist you get in your guts. Sometimes I was left breathless and my head would scream, “Oh my God, that is so them! Or her.”
I’d like to think my characters are complex, and as the romance formula is applied, they maintain that complexity through the angst and the numerous situations that make them gravitate toward each other or rip them apart. So, yeah I had a play list for Blurred Lines for everything from the dry witty exchanges, to that first kiss, impending doom to sexy times and love scenes.

Yes, it is somewhat eclectic but I never claimed to be normal. Currently, I’m putting the playlist together for Crossing Lines. Some of the same songs will be on it but it has major room to grow. Any suggestions?
