Look who stopped by for my Sunday Blog…

Should be an easy guess. She’s all about eating sweets especially, Cake. I know you want some.

Lesbian Romance in a Convenient, Snack-Size Container by Jove Belle

cover_Cake_500x800Before I go too far (or even really start at all), I need to say thanks to KD Williamson for hosting me today. She gets mad props for putting up with me through two books and still being willing to share her virtual space with me. Her new novel, Blurred Lines, has been several years in the making. I had the absolute honor of editing this novel, along with the sequel, Crossing Lines. If you’re a fool for a tightly written, angst-filled medical romances, these books are for you. It’s available now through Ylva Publishing and for pre-order on Amazon.com.

Coincidentally, I too have a February release from Ylva Publishing. Mine is an erotic romance called Cake. Sex and food, two great vices that taste great together. Or something like that.

In Cake, two women meet at a wedding and, as should always happen during a love-filled celebration, hook up. Of course, their affair is far from simple. One is the groom’s sister. The other is the bride’s ex-lover. What a tangled web of six-degrees of separation, yes?

I really, really hope you like Cake, and I hope that everyone buys a copy. Or even two. You see, it’s a novella, which is, in my opinion, the perfect size for an erotic romance. And, because it’s the length of an appetizer, rather than an entrée, it’s priced accordingly at only $2.99.

Because it’s impossible to think about Cake without thinking about food in general, at least for me, we’ve (we being me and my better, smarter half) decided to donate ten percent of the royalties to the United Nations World Food Programme.

WFP is responsible for feeding some of the poorest citizens on the planet, including the refugees fleeing Syria for Europe. If Cake doesn’t sound like the right book for you, I totally understand. Instead, perhaps you’d like to donate directly to WFT. If that’s the case, I am happy to lose the sale. Here’s the link to their website so you can check out the wonderful work they are doing around the globe. http://wfpusa.org/

If, however, Cake does sound like a story you’d enjoy reading, it’s available for pre-order from Ylva Publishing now. You can order a copy here: http://ylva-publishing.co.uk/product/cake-by-jove-belle/

A sexy romance about two women, one inconvenient wedding, and a shared love of cake.

Kelly and Elana’s relationship is a recipe for disaster. First, they meet at a wedding, and that never works. Second, Kelly’s older brother is marrying Elana’s ex-lover. And third, Elana is still painfully, undeniably in love with said ex.

When it comes to other people’s lives, Elana Verdad is an expert. As a licensed psychologist and life coach, she helps people overcome obstacles. Her own life, on the other hand, is a disaster. Her lover left her for a man, so she drove over his mailbox accidentally on purpose. Now, not only did the judge take away her driver’s license, he also assigned her to community service at the local women’s prison. In what may be her worst idea ever, Elana decides to crash their wedding.

Kelly Miller may not understand her brother’s rush to marry his girlfriend, but when he asks her to bake his wedding cake, it’s not as if she can refuse. She’s in the catering business after all. At the wedding, she meets a beautiful, complicated, and seriously damaged woman. Although Kelly knows it’s crazy, she’s drawn to her nonetheless.

Despite the reasons they shouldn’t be together, there’s still an undeniable something between them. All they need is a chance to enjoy their slice of the cake.
